For 10 years, OrangeYouGlad donated design, development, and volunteer time to Lighthouse International Film Festival (LIFF), a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to showcasing new and innovative films and fostering the next generation of filmmakers. LIFF’s mission to supporting great art in the medium of film has become a passion and commitment of the OYG team as well. In order to position the LIFF brand and lend high visibility to the festival, OYG created a distinctive visual system including the logo and brand identity, custom illustrations for event programs, posters, and website and new key art for every year.
HOW IT STARTED
We were initially tasked with creating custom, bespoke designs that would set the tone and visual language for that year's event.
Together, these elements tell a story of an event that has evolved through the years but still keeps the same essence of fun and respect for art and craft of filmmaking.
In 2015, we refreshed the festival with a rebrand and a new logo. The series of materials has been endlessly enjoyable to work on (even if it does give us a dangerous dose of summer fever).
