Preview Nights
Step 1: Are you Interested?
You'll need to send us the following information so we can get started inorganizing your Community Preview Night event, presented by Hennessy cognac!
  • Your name
  • Your e-mail address
  • Your phone number and preferred hours to be contacted
  • The name of the organization you represent and your title in the organization
  • The approximate size of your organization and the estimated number of tickets you think that you will be able to sell (minimum number 50)
Step 2: Pick your date
There are five Community Preview Night dates, featuring complimentary receptions hosted by Hennessy cognac.

Friday, 9/27: Museum of Chinese in America; Asian American Journalists Association
Thursday, 10/3
Friday, 10/4: FULLY BOOKED Asian Pacific Islander Committee on HIV and AIDS
Thursday 10/10
Friday, 10/11

Should the Community Preview Nights not fit into your group's schedule, we can work with you to organize a benefit event for another night. However, only the Preview Nights will feature the special Hennessey receptions. Please include at least two preferred dates in your email.

Step 3: Send out your invites by email through Evite!
To simplify the booking process and ensure proper communication between all parties, we require that you use our online RSVP system, powered by Evite.

  • Once you have sent us your e-mail, Factor will contact you to confirm a date for your event and obtain a description of your group, your group's logo, and other key information.
  • We will then set up a custom Evite RSVP website for your event, and send you instructions on using the system, along with your Event Password.
  • Make sure you do NOT change your Password! We need access to your website to add additional information and send confirmation notices to your guests.
  • If you receive RSVPs for your event through non-Internet channels, you must enter their information into your website manually for them to count towards your party.
  • All ticket purchases must be paid for in full by August 16th.
Step 4: Factor does the rest.
On or before August 16th, you will need to collect all payments for your event and send them together to Factor. (All payments should be made out to Flower Drum Song.) We will then organize block seating for your group, reserve your members' places at the Hennessy reception, and mail tickets directly to your members. Within two weeks of your Community Preview Night, Flower Drum Song will send you a check made out to your organization for 20 percent of the face value of your group's tickets.

We look forward to working with you and hope you enjoy the show!
