The goal was broad—to unite the America around Home as the place where lives and families thrive, and as the bedrock for a stronger nation. Ideon's brand story called for bold and uplifting visuals to compliment the powerful and emotional mission. A dynamic logotype, a vibrant color palette and an interactive and engaging website were the result.

OrangeYouGlad worked with letterer Ian Brignell to finess the hand-drawn lettering concept and create the custom logotype that reflects the personality and individuality of Home while evoking a sense of immediacy.

OrangeYouGlad also designed a social media integrated, wordpress managed, website with our friends at Codephonic. The site pulls in Home-related stories from Twitter and Instagram to the top of the home page to create an opportunity for exploration and emphasize the ubiquity of the meaning of Home in America.

OYG designed a series of complimentary print materials (notebooks, buttons, and calling cards) along with banners and way-finding signage for  Home Matter's launch on Capitol Hill March 12, 2013.

OrangeYouGlad created the visual identity design (and applications) to accompany the brand name, story and strategy work done by our partner Ideon.

The design focused on bringing together both military and business iconography to create an energetic, supportive and empowering brand that will motivate veterans to follow their dreams of business ownership. The brand is an exciting expansion of Citi's commitment to American servicemembers.

Crucial to the visual identity was keeping within Citi's brand guidelines while offering a unique approach that would speak directly to veterans. We applied the look and feel to a micro-site and event launch materials (notebook, banner, bookmark, PowerPoint).

Look for even more exciting developments in January 2014 when the competition finalists present their business plans!
